Hi. I'm Melissa.

I'm a graphic designer working in Chicago, IL.

I cut my teeth at Morningstar and StudioBlue while an undergrad at UIC, followed by a few years working at the Adler Planetarium making space stuff on their Experience Design team, and a few more years with my friends at HDG. I'm currently making noise and petting dogs with the crew at Bark.

I have a special love of designing for non-profits and museums — design is powerful, and I'm invested in creating work that advances the goals of mission-driven organizations.

I also serve as the Marketing and Branding Director for the Chicago Undersea Explorers Society (CUES), a recognized 501(3)(c) with the mission to “foster curiosity, camaraderie, and diversity through underwater education and exploration.”

When I'm not making things, I can be found camping in National Parks or the Red River Gorge, hunting for vintage polaroid cameras at estate sales or SCUBA diving in the Great Lakes with my CUES buddies.
